Hello,

We are Diana & Luis, a Portuguese couple, married in 2017 who loves to travel. Since we’ve met in 2013, we’ve been traveling the world together and exploring some of the best places in every corner. Our first trip together was to Dubai and Abu Dhabi; after that, we didn’t stop exploring. We include in some of our best trips: Singapore & Malasia, Australia & Fiji, Colombia, USA & Italy. We want to tell you all about our trips, best hotels and our favorite restaurants, so we’ve created this blog, to make sure all our best recommendations goes to you.

How do we travel?

We like to travel with some comfort and luxury, we are not backpackers nor we sleep in cheap hotels to save some money for the trips. We like to stay in good hotels, eat in good restaurants, visit museums, go to shows and do some adventures even if that requires spending good amount of money. It’s not that we choose the most expensive places, but we choose comfort, quality and certain amenities in order to feel good and enjoy the trip.

How do we prepare our trips?

We always create a personalized PDF guide to download to our iPad. This PDF is useful as it includes not only relevant information on arrival and departure, such as the airport, the hours of the planes, the terminal, the shuttle or best way to arrive to the hotel from the airport; but also information on how and where to buy a 4G SIM card for our mobile and any other relevant tips to make our life easier in every place. This guide also includes best attractions to visit considering the period of time we’ll be in every place, best restaurants with booking details and must-do experiences. Upon arrival, we edit the PDF guide to ensure we add every relevant personal experience to it. We share these guides with friends that ask us for recommendations and tips. Why to blog?

We’ve realized that more and more people are reaching out to us for advise and we thought this blog could help more people having access to our recommendations. On one hand we’re writing in English (even though none of us is a native speaker) so more people can read it. On another hand the way we blog is different from every blog we’ve seen as we want to be straight forward, write just the essential and share as much pictures and videos as possible so you get the real taste of every place. The majority of the pictures we share in our posts are taken by us so we include our logo on them, we use our iPhones and Canon 560D Camera to photograph and film. We hope you enjoy how we blog and look forward to your feedback in every post we publish.

Lonelyplanet.com – this is our favorite website to look for travel recommendations and tips. We always buy a Lonely Planet Pocket Guide for all our trips and we read them in full in order to create our own personalized PDF guides.

Timeout.com – We always investigate TimeOut Maganize to have their tips and recommendations. They are limited to some cities but advise is great.
