Confraria Lx one of the best sushi in Lisbon

Confraria Lx is one of our favorite sushi restaurant in Lisbon, with great quality food and nice atmosphere. The restaurante is located in Cais do Sodré, perfect area for having drinks after dinner.

There’s another Confraria in Cascais, it is also good, but due to the distance, it is easier for us to go to this one.

Why do we like it

Essentially because fish is very fresh and of good quality, this is one of the primary carachetistic of a good sushi, and Confraria has it.

Sushi man prepares sushi pieces with creativity and the mixes are quite good indeed. Drinks and desserts are also very good, you can have good sushi serving with an amazing cocktail or wine.

So we end up going there often when we want sushi, we didn’t find any other sushi restaurant that offer such great overall experience from starters to dessert.

Favorite Dishes

As a starter we always choose the salmon carpaccio – thin slices of fresh salmon served on a bed of crushed ice, it’s wonderful.

For main dishes, the salmon gunkan is a top choice, any variety of sashimi is great and if you’re lazy, you can order the combined Confraria 2 and allow yourself to be surprised.

Additional tips

During winter we prefer to go to the Lisbon restaurant, due to its very cozy and comfortable atmosphere. However, in summer we find the restaurant in Cascais more appealing since it has a nice terrace and is located in a very charming area of the city.
