La Maquina presents amazing Spanish food

La Maquina is not alone in Madrid but in this here we’re going to talk about only the restaurant La Maquina located in Jorge Juan street.

This restaurant is a high-quality Spanish food restaurant with an amazing “Jamón Ibérico”, you have to try it. The atmosphere is casual-chic, it’s perfect for lunch or dinner and the majority of its clients are locals so it’s a good sign.

An old 4-floor mansion in the corner of the alley of Puigcerdá is the location of La Maquina the Jorge Juan. A spectacular reform that offers an elegant and chic space, where noble materials, wrought iron and exposed brick predominate. It has a large elliptical bar on the ground floor where portions, tapas and skewers are offered for those who prefer a quick snack or a more casual meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

Why do we like it

The first reason is quite easy to give, definitely because of the quality of the food, but also because the atmosphere and decoration are beautiful.

Without any doubt, this restaurant is a gastronomic reference in Madrid. Dinners normally during the weekends are quite lively, and the round bar on the ground floor, is full of clients.

Favorite Dishes

The best choice to start your lunch or dinner in La Maquina is eating the known “Jamón ibérico de belota“, it’s an icon dish at this restaurant.

We normally eat the beef tartar which has 100% quality meat, the tuna salad, and the burrata… all the menu is excellent so let yourself be guided by the instinct.

Don´t forget the drinks, here you have a variety of wines from all Spain and from other oconic wineries.

Additional  Tips

You must always book a table for both lunch and dinner, as the restaurant gets fully booked quite easily. However, if you go there during off-peak hours without any reservation you may find a table or at least have some room at the bar.
