Pastéis de Nata in Lisbon
You can’t visit Lisbon without eating one or two “Pastéis de Nata“! Most famous are definitely the ones from Belém – “Pastéis de Belém” but the majority of the bakeries in Lisbon have the famous “Natas” and they all taste deliciously. Best combination is a “Pastel de Nata” with a coffee:)
Portuguese “Pastéis de Nata” can be found in lots of other countries, since portuguese expats tend to open local bakeries with these famous cakes in the places they settle in but it’s not until you visit Portugal that you realize that the recipe is actually ours.
