Why do we like it
It’s an informal restaurant with great food and friendly staff. It’s good to go at any time, being lunch or dinner or simply to drink something
The restaurant is located in the most famous street in Salamanca neighborhood. Where there are other famous restaurants, its a reference in the city, and we have the luck to live nearby.
The food is amazing, the Galician food is quite similar to our home town because they focus more
Favorite Dishes
Ocafú has our favorite Spanish Tortilla in Madrid and it’s one of their top dishes. It’s like an omelet, made with eggs and potatoes, following the same recipe of Betanzos (Galician Town).
Some other dishes that we like are the squid, the veal cheek and the monkfish and shrimp kebab. As a good Galician restaurant, Ocafú offers also an amazing octopus Galician style.
Additional Tips
The restaurant is quite big but usually starting from Thursday until Sunday is full for dinner so we recommend you to book in advance.
Alternatively, you can go early and sit near the bar or on the terrace if the weather allows it.
As we said before, at the moment you have 5 restaurants in Madrid, so you can check the availability, you can check the contacts in the website.
