We recommend this restaurant for any occasion, from lunchtime or dinner or even until late evening, the environment is always amazing.

It is also highly recommended to have an after-work drink, or after dinner you have a bar available on the lower floor of the restaurant.

Amazonico opened its doors in the summer of 2016, flooding with freshness, aromas and sensations the heart of the neighbourhood of Salamanca, Madrid. Crossing its threshold means entering the greenness and lushness of the Amazon Jungle. The gastronomic proposal is inspired by tropical, Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, with references to Brazilian gastronomy, our chef Sandro Silva’s country of origin.

Why did we like it

It is our favorite restaurant in Madrid or one of the TOP 3.

The food is delicious and the environment is wonderful, full of life. The decor is original, tropical and welcoming. The staff is attentive and polite. It is the perfect place for a long lunch, elegant dinner or just a drink with friends.

Favorite dishes

You have good options for entrance, it is difficult for us to decide which is the best one, we think you should follow your instinction.

No doubt the picanha and all grilled fish are an excellent choice for the main course. But don´t eat too much, you have to have space for dessert because the pineapple with coconut ice cream is highly recommended.

Additional tips

You must always book both for lunch and dinner and with a few days in advance. Believe it is not easy to have a table.

But don’t be discouraged if you can’t get a table because you can go there just for a drink after dinner, and you can enjoy the environment.

At night, they have a jazz bar in the basement with live music, which you also need to book if you want a table, if not you can enjoy the environment near the bar.
